Toi Beach

This is the largest shallow, calm beach in West Izu. Showers and changing rooms are free of charge.
There's a hot spring pool (or swimming pool) located near the beach, which is very popular with children.

Traveler's Cape

The cape is named after Akira Sasakura, a Naoki Prize-winning author. The sea is beautifully colored by the sunset throughout the year, and it is known as a famous spot for watching sunsets.
The magnificent Suruga Bay is a sight to behold.

Lover's Point

It is said that if you ring the "Bell of Love" three times while uttering your lover's name, your love will be reciprocated.
Ring the bell of love at a romantic cape and receive a free certificate declaring your love for each other—it will be the perfect memory of your trip together.

Toi Gold Mine

The Toi Gold Mine is extremely famous. The massive 250kg gold nugget, valued at approximately 400 million yen, is well worth seeing.
Indoor hot spring gold panning is a huge hit with kids! Take some gold home as a souvenir!

Monument to Honinbo Shūwa

(15 minutes by car from the inn)

A monument commemorating Honinbo Shūwa, a shogi player who was active from the late Edo period to the Meiji era, is located on the grounds of Saifuku-ji Temple, near his birthplace.

Seiyunji Temple

(10-minute walk from the inn)

It is a famous temple of the Nichiren sect and houses a framed painting depicting the life story of Nichiren Shonin.

Shuzenji Nijinosato

(30-40 minutes by car from the accommodation)

Shuzenji Nijinosato is full of flowers all year round . But it's not just flowers; there are also museums and workshops, so there's plenty to see and do! You can also rent a yukata (summer kimono) at the tourist information center inside the Shuzenji Tourist Hall to enter.

Art and Literature Walks

It is located in Suruga-daira (Nagaizumi-cho), at an altitude of 250m above sea level, with the sacred Mount Fuji to the north and a panoramic view of Suruga Bay to the south.
A museum housing and displaying over 2,000 works by Bernard Buffet and a literary museum exhibiting the original manuscripts and complete works of Yasushi Inoue are located in adjacent blocks.

Kojiro Serizawa Literary Museum

It is located in a pine forest at the foot of Mt. Ushibushi on the Gairyudo coast in Numazu City.
This is the personal literary museum of author Kojiro Serizawa, whose most famous work is "The Fate of Humanity."

Located in a scenic spot facing the coast, in a corner of Senbonmatsubara, a place deeply associated with Wakayama Bokusui, the poet of travel and sake, this museum expresses all of Bokusui's footsteps and work through his diaries, letters, and poetry notebooks.

The museum displays all of the works of Kyotaro Nishimura, one of the most popular mystery writers of our time, as well as a collection that reveals his diverse hobbies.
In the center of the venue, a model train is in motion. Upon closer inspection, it's clear that all the trains are from the artist's works, and a murder scene has also been recreated.
This is an elegant building located along the Chitose River in Yugawara.

It faces the beautiful gardens of Mishima, which are rich in spring water. The distinctive feature of its collection is its diversity, and among them, there are many masterpieces of Japanese swords.
The museum displays a wide variety of East Asian art and craft items, including bronze artifacts, ceramics, ancient mirrors, ancient Buddhist scriptures, Japanese paintings, Noh masks, and personal ornaments.

Koganezaki Crystal Park

We are exhibiting numerous works by leading glass artists from around the world.

Izu Chohachi Museum

Witness the pinnacle of the techniques of Chohachi Irie, a master plasterer and trowel craftsman from Matsuzaki.
The building itself is attracting attention as a structure that blends Edo period and 21st-century design.

Gallery Ensai

We are exhibiting and selling works by ceramic artists who have built kilns and are active in various locations throughout the Izu region.
This small but stylish building is located near the entrance to Joren Falls.

Furai Kobo and Kazeya

90 minutes by car from the inn

Yukinori Kuramae, a ceramic artist from Minamiizu town, has built a kiln called Furai Kobo in Kekurano, along what is commonly known as the Pottery Road.
The works, featuring unique color palettes, are on display and for sale at "Kazeya," a pottery shop located at the entrance to Shimogamo Onsen.
